$65K for 65 years! Dennis DesRosiers celebrates his 65th birthday
Andrew King from DesRosiers Automotive Consultants (DAC) has made the following announcement regarding one of Canada’s leading automotive analysts, Dennis DesRosiers, and his 65th birthday:
Hello, this is Andrew King, Dennis DesRosiers’ partner at DesRosiers Automotive Consultants (DAC). You may be surprised to learn that Dennis is turning 65 on September 12th (and you won’t be surprised to learn that he is not retiring). As such, we wanted to do something to celebrate and also recognize his 40 years in the automotive sector. When I talked to Dennis about setting up a celebration, he suggested that rather than throw a party or give a gift, that we encourage his friends in the automotive industry to make a donation to his Endowment at the Stratford Perth Community Foundation (SPCF). The goal is to reach $65K – a thousand dollars for each year he’s imparted his wisdom in this world!
Dennis believes strongly in giving back – to his family, his community and to the industry. One of the constants in Dennis’ life has been his work with young adults. For instance, he regularly provides automotive industry lectures to students in the sector and last year Dennis’ endowments at the University of Windsor and Georgian College funded eight scholarships.
As many of you know, Dennis spends a lot of time at his country home and is actively involved in the community there. Dennis sits on the Board of the SPCF and recently established an endowment fund called the DesRosiers Endowment for the Advancement of the SPCF to assist the Foundation in its important legacy work and community investment.
