ASA is soliciting photographs of the best waiting areas in the aftermarket.
Repair shops in Canada and the U.S. are invited to showcase their waiting rooms for a chance to win bragging rights.
“We are always excited when we can honour those in the auto repair industry who are doing great things,” said ASA executive director Ray Fisher. “This contest and other upcoming contests will give us the opportunity to do just that.”
Among the great ideas shops have been employing to keep customers happy while they wait are manicures, pedicures, shopping experiences, kid zone areas, free bike rentals, homey outdoor spaces, and free coffees and lattes.
All entries will be uploaded into a slideshow gallery on the AutoInc.org website for visitors to the site to love.
This contest will be the first of many competitions the ASA is planning in an effort to bring positive attention to service and repair shops.
Open to ASA member and nonmember auto repair shops in the U.S. and ASA members in Canada, entries will be accepted through Friday, May 31 and winners will be announced the week of June 10.
“We want to shine a positive light on the industry and extend ASA’s outreach to nonmember shops through this contest,” said Leona Dalavai Scott, marketing and communications director for ASA.
