New suspension numbers
KYB has released 24 new part numbers, including several high performance monotube Gas-a-Just shocks and Strut-Plus complete assemblies. Also included in the release were Excel-G units for high-profile, late model applications such as the 2016-2018 Honda Civic and 2015-2018 Nissan Versa.
“These new numbers are in stock, and available immediately,” stated Aaron Shaffer, KYB’s director of marketing and product. “We are increasingly focused on the demands of the market and our customers, we have a lot of things planned, and our customers will continue to see a steady diet of new numbers from us each month.”
Air struts
Arnott has released a remanufactured OE front air strut for the 2012-2018 Audi A6/A7 and the 2013-2019 Audi S6/S7 (C7 chassis). Arnott’s AS-3312 is a remanufactured OE front strut that fits both the left and right side of the 2012-2018 Audi A6/A7 and the 2013-2019 Audi S6/S7 (C7 chassis).
The OE strut is inspected, disassembled, steam cleaned, and media blasted to further clean exterior metal components. Arnott remanufactures the OE strut with new high-quality tier 1 components including a multi-ply rubber air bladder from ContiTech, heavy duty crimping rings, oil resistant O-rings, new air-line fitting and a dust boot to protect the air sleeve and is repainted with corrosion inhibiting paint to provide a high-quality finish.
Arnott dyno tests each rebuilt strut to assure OE functionality. This Arnott remanufactured Audi air strut is designed to work with the vehicle’s semi-active damping and auto leveling suspension controls.
Arnott remanufactures this air strut in the U.S. and backs it with a limited lifetime warranty in the U.S. and Canada and a two-year warranty elsewhere.
Quick struts
Tenneco has added 17 new Monroe Quick-Strut premium replacement strut assembly part numbers that provide combined coverage of more than 2.8 million late-model passenger vehicles.
The company also continues to expand the Monroe product offering overall, adding 17 premium shock absorbers and conversion kits to the line that represent approximately 16 million potential replacement opportunities.
Monroe Quick-Strut part numbers include 12 additional units that are first available in the aftermarket from a major ride control supplier. The latest applications now covered by the Quick-Strut offering include:

- 1993-2001 Subaru Impreza (Front & Exclusive Coverage)

Since 2003, Monroe Quick-Strut assemblies have been application-engineered to provide OE-style ride and handling plus long service life.
Each Monroe Quick-Strut assembly includes premium Monroe strut technology tuned and tested to address the unique characteristics of its corresponding application. Each assembly features a U.S.-grade steel and OE-equivalent spring design that’s paired with a vehicle-specific coil spring; premium, OE-style upper strut mount and bearing plate; and other high-quality components.
Common CV axle problems
TrakMotive has released a flyer that discusses “Practical Solutions to Common CV Axle Problems.” The flyer, available at the TrakMotive website, offers a closer look at premature axle bearing bracket failure and installing retaining clips on Ford applications. The flyer is one a of series of problem-solving tip sheets from TrakMotive.
