E.R.I. Group names 2014 Richard Miller Education Award winners

The Engine Rebuilders Inc. Group (E.R.I.) has announced this years winners of the Richard Miller Education Award. The award provides financial assistance and encouragement to individuals who wish to further their education or training, and has been presented to applicants from E.R.I. member companies for the past 14 years.

The award provides financial assistance and encouragement to individuals who wish to further their education or training, and has been presented to applicants from E.R.I. member companies for the past 14 years.

In September, Jamie Munro, Tyson Heidebrecht, Michelle Glass, Rachel Greguol, Marie-Pier Bélanger and Erin Steeves were each presented with a $1,000 cheque to help further their education.

Jamie Munro of Kamloops, British Columbia is enrolled in the Health and Social Development program at the Thompson Rivers University, studying to pursue her chosen field of Kinesiology.

Tyson Heidebrecht of Medicine Hat, Alberta is attending his final year of a Power Engineering program at Medicine Hat College. He has obtained his 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate as well as being on the Honour Roll.

Michelle Glass of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is enrolled in her second year in the Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelors in Nursing program through the University of Regina.

Rachel Greguol of Kitchener, Ontario is enrolled in the fourth year of her undergraduate degree in the Adult Development program at the University of Guelph.

Marie-Pier Bélanger of Saint-Sulpice, Québec is enrolled in her final year of the Human Sciences program at the Lanaudière Regional College in Joliette, where she is studying to pursue her chosen profession to teach students with learning difficulties.

Erin Steeves of Shediac Cape, New Brunswick is entering her first year of the four year Bachelor of Science program at the University of Prince Edward Island pursuing her dream of becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

Richard Miller and the selection committee are very pleased to be able to help recognize deserving individual members of the E.R.I. family who are motivated to improve their potential for personal fulfillment and make a meaningful contribution to society.
