Handheld Scan Tool
NEXIQ Technologies is pleased to announce the release of its new handheld scan tool for both heavy-duty and light and medium-duty truck diagnostics—the new Pocket HD. Ag and off-highway diagnosis
Bosch has released a new software version 2019/1 for the ESI[truck] with thousands of new coverage additions, and a new Off-Highway Software package for diagnosing construction and agricultural vehicles. New software additions include extended coverage for electronic control systems, wiring diagrams, fault codes and troubleshooting by trouble code procedures. These additions cover 228 different makes and 5,578 models. The 3824CBL-UPG Off-Highway Upgrade Cable Kit and introductory Software enables the Bosch ESI[truck] diagnostic solution to be used on a wide variety of off-highway vehicles and machinery.
Software update
The new 3.7.1.10 diagnostic software is available now for OTC’s Encore and Evolve professional diagnostic tools, with new coverage for various Asian, domestic and European vehicles.
The update provides technicians and shop owners with major new coverage additions, tests and enhancements for major vehicle brands in North America, including:
Asian: Acura, Honda, Infiniti, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru and Toyota
Domestic: Chrysler, Ford, GM, Jeep and Saturn
European: Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Fiat, Mini, Volkswagen and Volvo
Coverage additions and improvements include ADAS dynamic camera calibrations and special actuation and adjustment type tests for brakes, instrument cluster, climate/HVAC, transmission, airbag and engine/PCM based on year, make, model and engine.
