The owner of this 2002 Subaru Outback had several issues starting the vehicle in the cold and diagnosed it themselves as a bad battery.
Robert Kuenzlen, the service manager at Butterworth’s Service Centre in Ingersoll, Ont. found this surprise when he popped open the hood of a customer’s 2002 Subaru Outback.
The owner of the vehicle had several issues starting the vehicle in the cold and diagnosed it themselves as a bad battery. They asked the team at Butterworth’s to install the cheapest battery they could find.
Robert writes, “We mentioned the serious corrosion and asked if they wanted it serviced and then tested. They requested we just replace it, so we obliged.”
